Our Finishes

Powdercoating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured under heat or with ultraviolet light.

There are two major benefits. First, powder coating results in a thick, dense finish on metal products which can be more durable and longer-lasting than conventional painting. Second, powder coating is a one-coat finish so the process is quite quick and easy.

CORTEN steel is a high strength weathering steel. The word "CorTen" is the trademark name given to a weathering steel alloy material. When exposed to the environment, this steel forms an outer layer platina that protects it from corrosion.

The major benefits are: high resistance to corrosion and weather, up to 8 times higher than common steel, which makes it particularly suitable for outdoor use. Natural oxidisation, which occurs on contact with the air, forms a protective coat that prevents further rusting. Moreover, this patina gives it a warm brown color, which varies in tone over the years and depending on the external environment. Corten is considered to be a material that is "alive" and auto-protects itself - if the surface patina in fact is damaged or scratched, it oxidises again to build a new protection. This regeneration phenomenon can occur several times, thereby maintaining constant protection. Its "warm character" apart, Corten steel is also 100% recyclable.
