Fastening

This is how you attach your sign

The process begins with your request and the information you provide to us. Using the form below, you can submit a photo of your coat of arms, a finished file or a comment on your own new design.

You can find our inquiry form by pressing the black, round button at the bottom right of your window. :)

bolt

Threads for attachment are already welded to the back of your sign.

Set screws

The set includes matching set screws that are screwed into the bolts with the closed side.

You can hold the sign on the wall with the set screws and mark the hour marks.

Fasten

Attachment is easy, you just have to drill holes (5mm diameter) and insert the sign.

You can put cement or silicone glue in the holes to make it even more stable.

This technique means that the sign stands out about 8mm from the wall, which creates a floating effect and looks particularly elegant.

Corten steel

Corten steel is like a fine wine

Corten steel behaves just like good wine. You need good raw materials and the best conditions. The desired rust patina will develop over time as the sign is exposed to the elements of water and sun. The patina of your sign will continue to develop over time until this rust forms a protective layer that covers the steel underneath.

That's how it's done

Corten steel, the king of garden decoration, is a material known for its robustness and distinctive, beautiful rusty red patina.

This steel begins its development in the same way as "normal" steel.

Development

The development process takes place through wetness and dryness.

The Cortenrost process usually takes around 18 months. During this time you should try not to disturb your Corten steel product.

Care

If you let the rusting process take its natural course, the material itself will last for decades.

However, the orange-yellow rust look could become darker and darker over time to a black-brown rust tone.
